The new secondary school in Heidemannstrasse offers space for around 900 children to learn, discover and play. The pedagogical concept of the Munich Learning Houses is being implemented, which enables contemporary learning. The new building houses a 5-form entry secondary school with a triple sports hall. The building is divided into three structures, with the main building connecting the school and the sports hall under a roof. A clear solitaire forms the urban edge at the Carl-Orff-Bogen. The polygonal shape creates an inviting gesture at the entrance. The central hall functions as a connecting and communication area and houses the assembly hall, canteen, library, administration, music and art rooms. Blue and green tones in the façade characterise the school’s identity.
